Take Time For You

Imagine how incredible it would be to pencil a little time for yourself into your daily schedule. Don’t worry, you don’t have to uproot your current lifestyle or pull away from the people who depend on you most. Taking time for yourself can be as simple as slowing down a little bit.

Sleeping in when your body cries out for more rest, spending quality time with girlfriends you haven’t seen in a while, eating foods that nourish your body and energize your spirit, and painting your nails red and your walls a golden yellow hue.

I am writing to recognize people like you who work so hard and give so much of themselves to others. It’s to remind you that in order to take care of the people in your life, sometimes it’s best for everyone if you put your needs first.

There’s joy to be found in everything you do. You can nourish your spirit, your mind, and your body every day. Begin your journey with a smile, and start taking steps toward the happy, healthy, stress-free life you deserve.
